Each Breath Awakening journey is carefully crafted - not just with breathwork and hypnotherapy, but with music, movement, and intention. The theme guides the experience, creating a space for deep reflection and transformation. This session, we connected with your inner child.

That alone is extraordinary. We want to begin by congratulating you. For your courage. For your commitment. For leaning in, even when it wasn’t easy.

In this journey, we didn’t just breathe.

We remembered.

We remembered the parts of us we silenced to survive.

We remembered the parts of us we abandoned to be accepted.

And we remembered the radiant truth underneath it all: who we truly are.


The Two Inner Children

We are all born blank pages - open, expressive, free. No judgment. No masks. Just pure experience and wonder.

Over time, life happens. To stay safe, we adapt. To be loved, we contort.

The Wounded Inner Child:

This part of you carries the imprint of your unmet needs…love, safety, belonging, expression. When those needs weren’t met, you found brilliant ways to survive. Patterns that once kept you safe, however, now keep you small.

Maybe you recognized one (or more) of these:

  • The Overachiever – Proving your worth through success and productivity.

  • The Caretaker – Pouring into others while silently drying out.

  • The Invisible One – Staying quiet and small to avoid rejection.

  • The Perfectionist – Believing that being flawless is the only way to be loved.

These identities are not flaws. They were your protectors. But they are not you. They are who you became to survive.

The Forgotten Inner Child

Beneath the wounds, another part has always been waiting. The part untouched by judgment or fear. This child is pure essence—curious, free, expressive.

You may have glimpsed:

  • The Artist – Creating for the joy of it, not the outcome.

  • The Adventurer – Finding delight in discovery.

  • The Giggler – Laughing without filter, permission, or apology.

  • The Dreamer – Seeing a world filled with possibility.

This child is not broken. They were simply buried under the weight of “shoulds,” “musts,” and “not enoughs.”

For many of us, our past relationships were shaped by unconscious patterns.

Luke’s Story: From Performance to Pure Expression

“Music was my first bridge between my inner world and the outer world.”

It began with curiosity - a violin in a music store that lit something inside me. But that spark slowly faded as music became about performance, pressure, and being “good enough.” I lost my passion. Music was no longer mine. But life finds a way.

I reconnected with music through my brother - sharing tracks, feeling seen. Later, as a DJ, I found a way to speak without words - translating emotion to the dancefloor, chasing the feeling of connection and validation.

Then something even deeper emerged:

Friday sunrises with my daughter, our song playing as the world woke up. That was music not as a performance, but as presence. Love. Expression.

And now, in this very space, with you music becomes my way of weaving a journey. A safe space for your inner child to rise, breathe, and be.

Candice’s Story: Reclaiming Joy through Play and Animals

“I spent much of my life trying to do it right—being careful not to disturb, always trying to be good.”

But I realized ..we were never meant to take life so seriously.

Watching children fall on their diapers and laugh…

That’s joy. That’s the truth.

I began reclaiming my forgotten self through movement - acrobatics, play, falling, laughing, flying. I rediscovered the part of me who once believed she could be a circus artist… or an astronaut. I danced, I started acroyoga with Luke.

And with my cat, Chubbs, I connect deeply with that simple, grounded love. Animals don’t ask us to perform. They remind us to be.


Inner Meets Outer: The Full Expression of You

This is the invitation now, to live from your true essence, to allow the inner to meet the outer, until they are no longer separate.

Until your truth is no longer hidden.

Until your joy doesn’t need permission.

Until your breath, your voice, your movement—your life—reflects the wholeness of who you are.

This is what happens when the Inner Child is remembered and welcomed home.

  2. What was my wounded child really needing? How can I give them that now?

  3. When have I felt most like my Forgotten Inner Child? What activities awaken that part of me?

  4. What does my Inner Child want me to know right now?

  5. What’s one small way I can honour my Inner Child today?

Why does this matter? Because the hurts you’ve carried—whether from childhood, past relationships, or deep-rooted beliefs - still echo in how you love, trust, and protect yourself today. These wounds often whisper that you’re not enough, not safe, or not worthy, even when life shows you otherwise.

This is your invitation to bring those hidden parts into the light, to hold them with compassion, and to begin transforming old pain into new power. Healing is not about forgetting—it’s about remembering yourself more fully.
