4 keys to lung health and healing (Box Breathing)

What to do:

  1. Depending on your lung capacity, you can choose between the 3 second box or 5 second box practice. Each practice is approximately 5-6mins long.

  2. You can this anytime throughout the day when you need to recalibrate/refocus OR just before bed (alternatively you can perform the 20 min breathe light practice)

Benefits:

  1. Helps balance your nervous autonomic system, improves your overall stress response and helps accelerate your healing/recovery by taking you out of the sympathetic state.

  2. This will also help you sleep better through the night.

  3. Helps to control hyperventilation as you can instruct your lungs to breathe rhythmically.
